There are 79 million tax paying households in the United States and if you multiply that by $5000, that’s about $400 billion. Taxpayers receiving back $5,000 of their own money is a great idea.

Why should taxpayers be on the hook to pay a debt run up by thieves? Identify the thieves and seize their homes, cars, bank accounts and investments. Use that to pay the debt.

Because its the nature of the current social media landscape and tweets. Nothing is real in many ways. Twitter posts and promises are nothing. The cuts required to turn the ship around aren't the weather service or federal employed locksmith, but the gargantuan entitlements, and that one is a election defeat for the gop.
