Some dude from NPR also objected - NPR - a non profit - and taxpayer funded radio station that’s been ONLY LIBERAL for the past 50 years. FIFTY YEARS. LIBERAL ON THE TAXPAYERS DIME... And he had the nerve to criticize? Letting liberal ‘journalists’ run a newspaper is like letting monkeys run the zoo. They order too many bananas and keep reducing the hours visitors can come in... Self serving? Yeah, you betcha...

When I was growing up in the burbs of D.C. during the 50s and 60s, there were 2 major papers the Post delivered in the morning and the Star delivered in the evening. The Star was the liberal paper and the Post, believe it or not, was the conservative paper and had been the conservative paper going all the way back to the John Phillip Sousa days. Then the Post bought the Star and went more liberal than the Star had ever been.
