THEY don’t care what you have to say. Your comments are mostly irrelevant.

The only effective input is whether you are for or against an issue.

When organizations rally groups to call in or send text or email, the staff are counting numbers. Someone is sitting at a desk scrolling down an inbox, literally reading the subject lines. They aren’t opening the emails. Just reading the subject lines.

The switchboard was overwhelmed the other day, with over 60,000 calls an hour, melting down the system.

You might get a response if you send a registered letter, with return service.

Better yet, file your correspondence into your local courthouse, THEN send the correspondence registered, and include the documentation that you made it a part of a public record.

That’s what lawyers do when they serve someone, and most congress critters are lawyers, so you’ll be speaking to them in a language that they’ll understand.

In other words, you mean business. And, you’ll stand out from most of the other run of the mill contacts, that they’ve heard form over the days, weeks, months and years that go by.

Good luck.

I have not tried to contact my Senator Ted Budd, North Carolina since He moved from the House up to Senate.

I did contact him when he was in the House and I called one morning. It was like 06:45 Local Time to and he actually answered the phone himself at the local office. He did immediately remember seeing my situation information in the to do box and had the answer for me that I was trying to find out, but I hadn’t gotten a call back from a Staffer yet.

After Zuckerberg bowed to Trump I went back to Facebook.
So far so good, I haven’t been sent to Facebook jail yet.
After the Laken Riley Act passed I copied the Facebook links to
all that voted against it and I followed them.
On Facebook you can create pages that keep your politics out of your personal page.
Now when I’m logged in as Agitators I get their feeds.
I humiliate them when they post about anything by letting their
followers know they voted against H.R. 29: Laken Riley Act and
HR 30 Preventing Violence Against Women by Illegal Aliens Act.
Last June I saved all their Pride posts.
Their post URL is in the timestamp.
You can go to any person’s page and click on Followers.
Then click on Following.
This is Maxine Waters’ Following page

This is my Following page.

If you’re interested, highlight my followers all at once and past into a document.
The links will come with it.

I have a FB page, but I don't like how "new" Facebook works as opposed to the older interface.

The older interface allowed me to set up groups, link the accounts of people/orgs I wanted in those groups, and then when I wanted to see posts in those groups, I'd just go to them and browse thru them. And at the same time I could keep the news feed clear of anything I didn't want posted there.

Now I can't do that. If you try and set up a group, the people/orgs in that group also have to viewable in the news feed, and I hate that. I really do.

So now I use it only when I want to try and keep up with people I knew from my past job or my daughter. That's really about it. FB has lost of the functionality it once had and is now the worse for it.
