“There is ongoing litigation, congressional legislation, and widespread protests relating to DOGE’s access to Treasury and the Bureau of the Fiscal Service,” reads the email reviewed by Wired. “If DOGE members have any access to payment systems, we recommend suspending that access immediately and conducting a comprehensive review of all actions they may have taken on these systems.”
Titled “Recommendations,” the email was sent to members of the Bureau of the Fiscal Service’s IT division and others. The message was viewed and reported on Friday by Wired, which said the email came from a threat intelligence team in the U.S. Department of the Treasury.

The email goes on to note reports that Musk and company have locked certain federal employees out of their computer systems, and said DOGE staffers’ access to payment systems “likely poses the single greatest insider threat risk the Bureau of the Fiscal Service has ever faced”:

It shouldn’t be too hard for the techies to figure out the soon to be former employee of the treasury department who sent the email. The days of bureaucrats thwarting the will of the duly elected administration are coming to an end and this joker will soon be on the unemployment line

Makes you wonder the level of corruption in that swamp, given how badly they want to hide it.

As far as I can tell, the only relevant question is who can we trust.
Probably not the ones who got us where we are.
Everyone in Senior Executive Service should be polygraphed.

This grift is critical to Democrat midterm fundraising.
For the Democrats, winning back congress is crucial in 2026 so that they can hobble Trump under the weight of endless investigations, special counsels, and impeachment hearings for the remainder of his term.
This is why they so desperately need to keep the money train going and why they're fighting so hard against Musk's efforts to shut it all down. Their midterms depend on it.

What do they think, that Elon Musk, a billionaire, is going to steal money? Those
Dems think like their constituents. They can't imagine anyone who would be honest.
