There are lots of websites that solve cryptograms. It is a pretty trivial problem. These are simple monoalphabetic substitution cyphers. There are some ENIGMA intercepts from World War II that still haven’t been broken, even though we know the unit that sent it, where they were and what they were doing. ENIGMA was practically unbreakable, but Wehrmacht COMSEC was abysmal, so it was broken in practice.
Waiting the doctor’s office, I recently solved one of these on my phone, without paper or pencil or electronic aid. My wife and I used to solve them in the newspaper waiting for service at Bickford’s, without pencil, just by inspection, but Bickford’s is no more and I no longer purchase a newspaper.
When evaluating how fast you solved this, just remember that it is all relative.
Who prepares ‘em?
Nikos1121 “owns” this site and is assigned weekends. Apple Pan Dowdy works Monday-Tuesday, I take Wednesday-Thursday, Froggy the Gremlin does Friday. The flavors are distinct. Apple has the best religious sensibility, may take Easter and Christmas, regardless. I post solutions almost every day. When I cannot Apple or Nikos fill in.
