Quite apart from ones’ support or lack thereof for homosexuality, events like a “pride month” (for _anything_) detract from a proper focus on the core mission of any unit of government, and surely cost some amount of money that our government really can’t afford to be wasting. So on that basis such things should be eliminated as a DOGE cost saving measure.
