There were certainly more informants and likely agents. This FBI operation was certainly an outlier. The time and money devoted to this project makes the case for a false flag entrapment scheme. It’s also likely inconsistent with the department’s own rules and policies.
Anyone involved in the planning and execution of this operation needs to be prosecuted.
