Congress should do clawbacks on the people who have defrauded the government. And the most important places to cut are where the outlays are highest. No more scared cows. That game must stop.
The Veto pen must be used. The only way the madness should be able to continue is if there aren’t at least 146 Representatives or at least 34 Senators willing to hold firm on fiscal sanity.
If the fed agencies shut down then the States can keep things functioning & we rebuild federal services from scratch.
Social Security and Medicare and Medicaid need full audits to weed out the dead, and the illegitimate who have swollen the ranks of beneficiaries.
