No man knows
Many havewclaimed the same and been WRONG
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour no one knoweth, not the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.
What will the post millennial teachers think?
Wars and rumors of wars, got that part right.
Until you get a situation worse than the bubonic plague or the Muslim conquests of Christian lands from Spain, across north Africa, to the Holy Land and up into the Byzantine Empire and the Balkans don’t tell me that it is the worst it has ever been.
(Wars and rumors of wars, got that part right.)
THAT is certainly happening
Matthew 24:6-8
New American Standard Bible
6 And you will be hearing of wars and rumors of wars. See that you are not alarmed, for those things must take place, but that is not yet the end.
7 For nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom, and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.
8 But all these things are merely the beginning of birth pains.

“Instead, we are living at a time of war, famine, pestilence and major natural disasters.”
It would be impossible to segment any time in human history when that was NOT the case.

Luke 21:34-36
Matthew 24:42-44
Matthew 24:42-44
New King James Version
42 Watch therefore, for you do not know what [a]hour your Lord is coming.
43 But know this, that if the master of the house had known what [b]hour the thief would come, he would have watched and not allowed his house to be broken into.
44 Therefore you also be ready, for the Son of Man is coming at an hour you do not expect.

Luke 21:34-36
King James Version
34 And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
35 For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
36 Watch ye therefore, and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.

Interesting that the passage says you won’t be able to conduct commerce without the mark. Oddly specific. We are only now getting to the point that governments or powers that be can prevent commerce between two parties.
The warnings in Revelation were for the 1st-century Christians, not 21st -century Christians.
I see 2Tim all around me, every day, and know things are coming to a head.
Why do so many conservative Christians believe that the end of the world is just around the corner? As my own church grows increasingly woke, I have been checking out a local Calvary Chapel, whose theology is mostly solid, but they are so obsessed with eschatology that I’ve decided to stay with my blue church.
I might start taking this end-times stuff seriously if someone can show me a verse in the Bible that reads, “yea, verily, the Tribulation shall begin in the Year of Our Lord 2024.”
“We Are The Book Of Revelation Generation β Are You Ready?”
Generalized statements like this are Christian sensationalism. Ever since Revelation was written every generation has been “the book of Revelation generation”. Three of the first four chapters of Revelation (about 14% of the book) are directed toward those alive when it was written. These were, at the time, the seven churches in Asia.
When things get very chaotic, dangerous, destructive, and painful in the world, the message that this means we are living in the last moments of history resonates. I’m sure those in the thick of WW2 could not imagine the world would continue another century. But we’re approaching that.
On the other hand, I think we can look at very specific and unique characteristics of this generation and see where they align with Bible prophecy concerning the last days.
I don’t see the clear and distinct signs that indicate Christ’s return is imminent. But I do see the stage being set in very unique ways. I’ll give just two examples:
1. There will be an image of the antichrist set up in the 3rd temple in Jerusalem that will be able to speak (and, yes, I’m making some assumptions about the meaning of this passage that not everyone agrees with). I don’t think this was ever possible before modern AI which can today converse as well as most humans and speak many languages fluently.
2. Jesus said it would be like the days of Lot (think Sodom) when He returns. The tribulation will be global. Likewise, the judgment will be global (like Noah’s flood, but fire rather than water, like when Sodom was destroyed). No time in human history has there been a worldwide movement promoting the sexual perversions of Sodom. This behavior has never been so commonplace.

Revelation 13:15 NKJV
He was granted power to give breath to the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak and cause as many as would not worship the image of the beast to be killed.
Matthew 24:37 NKJV
But as the days of Noah were, so also will the coming of the Son of Man be.
Revelation 3:10 NKJV
Because you have kept My command to persevere, I also will keep you from the hour of trial which shall come upon the whole world, to test those who dwell on the earth.
2 Peter 3:2-7 NKJV
Be mindful of the words which were spoken before by the holy prophets, and of the commandment of us, the apostles of the Lord and Savior, knowing this first: that scoffers will come in the last days, walking according to their own lusts, and saying, βWhere is the promise of His coming? For since the fathers fell asleep, all things continue as they were from the beginning of creation.β For this they willfully forget: that by the word of God the heavens were of old, and the earth standing out of water and in the water, by which the world that then existed perished, being flooded with water. But the heavens and the earth which are now preserved by the same word, are reserved for fire until the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men.
Matthew 24:36
But of that day and hour no one knoweth, not the angels of heaven, but the Father alone.

Now learn the parable of the fig tree: When its branch already may have become tender and it puts forth leaves, you know that the summer is near. So also you, when you see all these things, know that He is near, at the doors.
Matthew 24:32,33
Every generation has thought they were living in the End times.
But actually.......that’s the whole point of the uncertainty. To ward off complacency.
