Of course they don’t even mention intermittent fasting. We eat too much, too many carbs, and we eat CONSTANTLY, never giving our digestion a break.
bkmk
for me, carbs were an addiction.

Not all diabetic or prediabetics are fat.
RE: Consider weight loss? How about doing it.
Watched the PBS Nova show The Truth About Fat.
To survive starvation from lack of food sources in the cave era or in the ice ages, the body helped by storing more fat. People who lived gave their genes to offspring that we inherited to “help” us by killing us with diabetes, heart attacks and other maladies.
The people on the Biggest Loser who gained national fame for losing weight-——all got even fatter after a couple of years while most strenuously exercised and did all the deprivation and self-discipline rituals they got their old fat off-—but to no avail.
Really, really depressing.
Hopeless.
That’s why everyone waited for science to invent a pill to take (or injection) to get the fat off and keep it off, unless you die first from horrifying side effects.
We all know someday there will be law firm ads for joint lawsuits for the victims’ families of users of the two weight loss miracles.
