The Salvation Army (SA) publication on racism, relying heavily on White Privilege and Critical Race Theory (CRT) was deleted, but only the truly gullible would believe the character of the organization had turned away from joining this most popular, squishy expression of Christianity. SA has retained its International Social Justice Commission, which developed and released the publication.
Supposedly this long document was a voluntary discussion guide, but what are the chances of advancing in the organization if one expresses disagreement with any of the statements? Why wouldn’t it continue to hold a cherished pride of place in the personal libraries found in the offices of all those looking to impress others and advance their futures?
I think the SA publication was useful as a guide to the teachings/indoctrinations of White Privilege, Black Lives Matter, and CRT, that provide people comforting delusions for proclaiming their moral excellence. It really should have been titled “Let’s Talk About How to Revive Racism”. I will definitely miss it. Here is the link.

The position statement linked to below, which you retained, does not seem much better to me, because it includes me with “all people”, and I don’t have racist tendencies. I consider myself and all true Americans to be sovereign individuals who find value in themselves and others by acknowledging pre-existing, natural, intangible liberties. All of God’s children then exercise these liberties for strongholds of competence and self-worth for building individual character and exalting the human spirit.

Those defaulting to race or ethnicity, and therefore Cultural Marxism, to find acceptance are to be pitied. Understand we are presented with two views of history, that incredibly compete for attention in this country. Americans must reject the premises of Cultural Marxism because this philosophy cannot live peaceably with federal republicanism or individual autonomy, and in fact must replace it.

Everything and everyone exist within the bounds of infinity. He carved an idol out of words, which is as lifeless as Yojo that Queequeg revered and propitiated in Moby Dick.
For him resolving the dilemma of the human condition meant deciding people exist as swarms of creatures identified to be enthroned, dominated, or eradicated. In this country people use the principles of Cultural Marxism to support the creation of White Privilege, Black Lives Matter, Critical Race Theory, and other pathways into Communism.

The Salvation Army refuses to recognize this effort as a method to re-segregate blacks, embrace a bondage of dependency, and reject Dr. Martin Luther King’s dream of a symphony of brotherhood through meaningful acknowledgement of our founding documents. It does not recognize the country malingers under the burden of virulent mythologies your initiative reinforces which produce within urban black cultures a pestilence of moral distress highlighted by shattered families, indiscriminate abortion, and rampant criminality. Within these cultures blacks re-segregate themselves.
Certainly, the SA publication was a fine example of amalgamating Cultural Marxism with faith statements for a style of Christianity as comforting to acolytes as mothers blending raisons and walnut pieces into dough for Christmas cookies.
The Salvation Army position should be rejected because it directly contradicts Classical Christianity that exalts God’s relationship with the individual, and that supports Enlightenment philosophies emphasizing inherent individual natural liberties that were key to the founding of our nation. The Declaration of Independence says, “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness”. In this expression, the Creator residing beyond infinity reaches into our world from eternity to endow individuals with inestimable value despite the human condition, and therefore reminds those holding governing positions of their central duty to cherish the individuals they seek to serve and recognize the paradox of their own fallibility.
Be assured I expect behavior consistent with the publication you still hold dear, and you will never receive another donation from me. You can also be certain I will remind those on my email list of the true character of your organization. Lastly is the Babylon Bee article that sparked my interest.

Thats good news...because I stopped giving ANYTHING to the salvation army when I heard the CEO was making almost a million dollars, and they started down the DEI crap.
When the Salvation Army became leftist I stopped donating. This was at least 14 years ago under Obama when I stopped. I tell the bell ringers when I walk by “Go woke go broke” with a smile.

I stopped giving to a lot of big charities due to the fact their big bosses make a ton of money. alot of the folks that make commercials for them are paid to do so.
I donate local, church pantry, dog shelter, even local social services.
Kinda sad. I used to fill up from the ATM and put 20s in every kettle I passed. But since I’m white I can’t use my privilege like that anymore.
How about Zimbabwe dollars? Will they take those? I want to donate about $10 trillion.

Oh dear....I should have read the source.
I used to give to SA. They left me alone for a while, but have now started sending flyers with renewed vigor.
SA is dead to me. They can’t serve both woke and the Lord.
They would need a thorough reversal of their doctrine and public repentance to get me back.
The Bee is behind the times. About 10 years ago they apologized for their whiteness publicly, and encouraged others to do the same.
We cut them off then.
