Same experience.
Every time I go back it just keeps getting worse
A conservative friend of mine with connections in CA told me three weeks ago.
“You have NO idea of the real agenda CA has in mind if Harris gets in!”
Pelosi district yes. She was just re elected with 80% of the vote. We had good candidate on the ballot against her, too.
The citizens of Detroit have done to their city what Pontiac and his Ottawas could not do in 1764.
Thanks for posting.
The people keep voting them in. The will always vote D and against their own best interests. They have Stockholm Syndrome. Sad.
Uh, the city is like 80%+ Democrat.
I saw SF when this crap show was just starting.
I lived in Silicon Valley until 2000. My housemates brother had an art gallery on Union Square. When I would visit his brother, SF seemed perfectly fine until about 1998.
I took my mother to see the Riverdance show in 1999. After the show, we had to walk around the people sleeping in the theatre entrance, and on down the street there were people sleeping in doorways for 3 blocks until we reached the parking structure.
I went in the 1970s with my family and remember it quite well, it was amazing the widing streeet up the hill, and now it’s like downtown Calcutta. Why don’t Republicans use this to their advantage? Put out before and after ads “This is San Fran before, this is San Fran after todays democrats took it over”
Something has to be done about that damn party because we absolutely are going to find ourselves again one election away from them turning the rest of the country into this nightmare.
They’re domestic enemies of the USA as far as I’m concerned from now on. This is like having the Taliban as a major party in the US. What ticks me off more than anything is if Trump never ran, democrats would have absolute power by now. The Republican party does absolutely nothing to expose these bastards.
Fond memories of visiting the city in the ‘60’s - driving from Sacramento for weekends of movies and dinners with friends. Loved the city and the bridges! Don’t remember the last time but didn’t have any reason to go to any of the neighborhoods depicted here. There can’t be any reason for anyone to visit there now. Didn’t know the city well enough to name the areas - just the Wharf etc. We moved to S. California early ‘70’s..and got out of the state entirely in 2006...
Our daughter lived there around 2007-2009. We visited her, and while you could see things were moving in the wrong direction, it was still a nice week. It is such beautiful and bountiful country. It is so sad to see how the left has ruined it.
She was with SFPD. She kept in touch for some time with a few fellow cops after she left in 2009. I asked her once if they thought things were as bad as they appeared from our perspective. She said yes. That was years ago.
The good news about SF is that every hundred years or so a mega earthquake will return everything to rubble and they can start fresh.
:-)
Any assignment would seem like s dream job after serving in SF. Well, almost. I’m sure a few other lefty cities could give it a run for its money.
