In Sept, JD Vance laid out the peace plan.
Immediate cease fire. A buffer zone between the front lines. Ukraine loses over 20% of its former territory. Ukraine takes on a neutrality not unlike Austria and no consideration ever for membership in NATO.

Russia will take the offer.
The bigger issue could be the mid east. They will try and tie that issue into the final agreement. That might pose a threat to the final.

If no European country agrees to any final agreement, then the USA withdraws from NATO.
If Russia rejects, then an increase in military FROM, European countries to Ukrain will happen.

I suspect Russia agrees.
