The United States experienced inflation during World War II, but federal efforts to control it were somewhat successful:
Consumer price index: From 1939 to 1943, the consumer price index increased by about 24%, but only 4% from 1943 to 1945.
Annual inflation rate: From April 1942 to June 1946, the annual inflation rate was 3.5%.
So you could say that Russia today is more capitalist than USA was during WWII (even though they have enormous problems with corruption).

The Russians can afford to do that because that kind of interest rate doesn't trillion to their national debt.
We can't even get inflation by raising and keeping interest rates high because it adds so much to our pathetic national debt.
The Russian economy was supposed to be brought to its knees by sanctions but the Russian GDP is better than ours or any majority EU country.
The name of the country in English is “Turkey.”
Sounds like a farming opportunity in Russia? Maybe they could restore their half of Ukraine to its breadbasket status, but this time raise chickens and cows.
You communists are on the verge of total victory! Glory to Kazan!
