How the hell does a 23-year-old get lung cancer? It’s tragic, but I would imagine it’s environmental. I don’t think even a hereditary type of cancer can come that quickly in the lungs.

True enough, but there’s a couple more things to the equation than just that. First off the life expectancy in the 19 century it was 45 to 50 years old. And people with lung cancer and the 20th century generally get it between 65 and 70. bottom line people weren’t living long enough to get cancer 19 century.

This reminds me of the death of Sal Aunese, Colorado Buffalo Quarterback who died from stomach cancer.
A young athlete who also lost the battle with cancer, he was a leader, in all respects.
He was a great player, pulling the Buffs up to be a winning team.
