Adams publicly disagreed with Biden, perhaps that is the reason he was indicted. However, Biden will be out of office in four months, and is the lamest of lame ducks. I can't imagine Kamala Harris having a grudge. So what is the motivation in taking down Adams and his administration? Adams is reported to have taken campaign funds from Turkey, a NATO member and not as hostile to Israel as Iran. New York is a key transportation hub in North America and has been for two centuries. The port facilities in nearby New Jersey are massive and perhaps the best in the country. The Chinese may want a city administration that is pro-Chinese. They dominate Vancouver, Canada's most important Pacific seaport. The tentacles of the CCP go deep into the Biden-Harris Administration, with Tim Walz particularly friendly to the Communist regime.

It is possible the Red Chinese may want to dominate New York as they do Vancouver and the Panama Canal. They may be betting on a toothless Harris administration and have encouraged the Feds to go after Adams and his cohorts. Thereby, Middle Eastern influence is eliminated and a mayor could be elected or appointed who will take a pro-Chinese stance.
