Maybe now's the time to deescalate?

Trump's approach is right. He'll try to end the war.

Time to get right with Jesus folks. Get right and stay right. The coming days here on Earth are dark but in Heaven it is always light and that is where you want to land. Peace be to all and in Jesus name we pray.

Keir Starmer is an incredibly dangerous dictator and is no friend of the US.

We shouldn’t be allied with him in any way. He is not to be trusted.

Look up the Suez Crisis of 1956. That’s when Britain stopped being a world power.

I agree totally.

Not our pasture. Not our cows. Not our BS.

Let Ukraine sort out their own problems.

Amen to that.

Two generations of my family damn near lost their lives in 1918 and 1945 fighting for those nit wits.

I remember my father telling me how angry and bitter my grandfather was when France fell in 1940.

My grandfather spilled his guts all over the Meuse-Argonne and when the Frenchies gave up my dad said my grandfather was pissed off.

"Two generations of my family damn near lost their lives in 1918 and 1945 fighting for those nit wits."

My great-uncle was killed in WWI, two months before the Armistice in France while serving in the Canadian Expeditionary Forces. He's buried in a British Military Cemetery in Wimille, France.

After the Treaty of Versailles, I personally feel that Europe dropped the ball and failed to make Germany comply with the Treaty. All Germany did was whine about how harsh the Treaty was, but they signed that Treaty. The bottom line is, don't start wars unless you make damn sure you win them, and don't cry about your punishment after you lose the war you started.

Germany's major arms manufacturer since the early 1800's has been Krupp Industries. Even after being banned by the Treaty of Versailles, they never stopped producing war machinery...but no one in Europe held their feet to the fire. I think they were more interested in the fines that Germany was paying than if Germany was following the post WWI rules. After WWII, at Nuremberg, the head of Krupp at that time, Alfried Krupp von Bohlen und Halbach testified that Krupp had never stopped producing weaponry after WWI, despite being banned from doing so. His father Gustav had been spared from being charged at Nuremberg because he had managed to become senile sometime in 1943. Alfried Krupp was charged with profiting from the war, and using slave labor. He was convicted and sentenced to serve 12 years in prison. He never accepted any guilt. He was also ordered to forfeit a large majority of his holdings in the company. As usual, Nazis like Krupp was released after only 3 years, and the forfeiture of his property was reversed. He died in 1967.

Sounds like cataracts. Best see an eye surgeon.

Or Zeeper Denial Syndrome (ZDS). Sadly no cure, but progressive care facilities can help care for you as your symptoms get worse.

That treaty led directly to round two, as many on the Allied side warned it would; the British and French governments simply found a naïf in the White House who would push for reparations to their two countries.

“You mean that wall of worthless fuzzy text?”

We all know who you are. You’re the warmongering loon who assured us that Russia’s nukes were so cruddy and rundown from neglect that they wouldn’t launch. That we had little to worry about from them, and if we were worried, we were treacherous Putin stooges and appeasers.

***UK wants US directly involved in UKRAINE CONFLICT (My notes on the excellent 26 minute RUMBLE video.)***

I have been posting similar on social media and FR for some time... not about Britain solely but Europe in general, especially Germany. Perhaps a year ago Vlad Putin issued the same warning about an act of war to Germany.

Europe wants war with Russia BUT they want the U.S. to pay for it AND to do much of the fighting! The clock is pressing them hard because Donald Trump could well become president and they know he won't let them skip paying their share and he won't fight their war for them.

For the One World globalists, such a war eliminates two opposing blockades to their plans: they hope Russia will be eliminated militarily and the United States so weakened financially as to also lose its status as a world power. Antony Blinken and his war mongering crowd in D.C. AND the Dem Party seem all in on the plan.

Speaking of Antony Blinken, we see him manipulating events in the Middle East to assist Hamas. That points to another NATO trap to involve America in WWIII. Turkey has allied with Iran and has been considering joining the fight to eliminate Israel as a nation. They likewise hope to use NATO to drag the U.S. into a war with Israel.

All this seems to me to indicate the obsolete nature of NATO. Its members have been lulled into seeing America as a dessert treat for them to toy with hostilities that they could not possibly undertake by themselves. I think NATO is quickly outgrowing its original intent AND I suspect that Donald Trump sees the trap there - and NATO members know that. Thus their clock is running out.

This scenario explains why opposition to Trump is so fierce and why he is considered the most dangerous man to seek the presidency AND why he is the enemy of our democracy!

Yes, exactly. Especially the war guilt clause is highly dubious, and strangely, when negotiations for peace were offered in December 1916 by the governments in Berlin and Vienna, the offer was roundly rejected by the Entente governments.

The Entente war aim was to eliminate the „new“ power in the heart of Europe. Still, the British and French documents pertaining to the outbreak of WW I are still sealed in the archives of London and Paris…that is, if they have never deliberately been disposed of. That might have happened or not. Nobody knows for now.
