Jesus raised three people from the dead. No doubt they died again or we would now be watching their selfie videos on the internet.

From the context of the “ordained to die once” it is in reference to how Christ’s death is the one and single offering for our salvation, when it comes time for our one judgement. The writer of the Gospel was stating a general principal of life (and death). What about Enoch and Elijah? They never died.

Hebrews 9: 24-28

For Christ has entered, not into holy places made with hands, which are copies of the true things, but into heaven itself, now to appear in the presence of God on our behalf. Nor was it to offer himself repeatedly, as the high priest enters the holy places every year with blood not his own, for then he would have had to suffer repeatedly since the foundation of the world. But as it is, he has appeared once for all at the end of the ages to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself. And just as it is appointed for man to die once, and after that comes judgment, so Christ, having been offered once to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time, not to deal with sin but to save those who are eagerly waiting for him.

My first encounter with St Germain was when he bought a car off me. /jk

It was this book, which I saw in a used bookstore in the nearby metropolis :^) and he sounded like either a figment of someone’s imagination, a tale that grew in the telling, or just another con man. :^)

I think I missed this episode (#26):

Also don’t forget Santa Claus. The old geezer is about a thousand years old, and only gets a workout once a year. He’s overweight, smokes a pipe, and eats milk and cookies while sliding up and down chimneys all over the world with a bag full of toys. He must be in crappy shape, but he never dies, just goes back home and bosses around some elves in a sweatshop the rest of the year. Full disclosure. I don’t believe he exists, but want to have a little fun with the concept.

My very least favorite Star Trek episode. William Shatner is nailing an android until she becomes human, has a nervous breakdown, and croaks. So much for becoming human. And his peroration while she’s having the nervous breakdown is obnoxious, even for Captain Kirk. Data from STTNG, don’t bother. It’s overrated. People just want to have sex with you.

No it was The Seventh Sign with Demi Moore. Made in the 1980’s. It was actually a pretty good movie.

It’s a joke. I defined “immortal human being” to be everyone who was ever born on the earth since ancient times who is still alive today. Obviously, the current population of Earth - 8 billion - is “still alive today,” and thus it’s silly to define them as “immortal” just because they’ve never died.
