Yes, it’s what you will often see in Italy, especially in the hot summer months, when salad generally grows very well - and is also quite refreshing to eat 🙂
When Pizzas die it’s not pretty.
Shakey’s Pizza at Tyson’s Corner had a taco pizza with ground beef, cheddar, and lettuce in the late ‘70s. That was pretty good, actually.
Tyson’s Corner...haven’t been there in years. Was more of a Generous George or Armand’s fan when it came to pizza.
My teenage years. Far from having developed appreciation for finer flavors. Still, I’d really like to have one of those Shakey’s taco pizzas just for old times’ sake.
And if you’re familiar with the area, there was a restaurant by the name of Rudy’s around the corner from the Super Giant and next to the Baskin Robbins in McLean that served the best filet mignion I have had *ever*.
