Some are, yes. But, then again, why are so many theists seemingly so frightened by the efforts of scientists to understand our material world? After all, didn't God Himself create this world? We human beings are, in part, physical beings, no? The Incarnation of God the Son was a true physical incarnation, was it not?
To my mind, many professing believers tell on themselves through their reflexive fear of science. Even if a given scientist may not believe that their intelligence, and their capacity for rational thought, is an attribute bestowed on them by a loving God who created them in His image and likeness, it is true nonetheless.
I tend to think that God takes pleasure in those whom He created trying to figure out, as best they can, how His creation works.
some of are scarred by “scientists” declaring that “The Science is Settled!!!!” so we are naturally skeptical of anything they tell us. They have proven that they have agendas and largely can not be trusted to tell the truth when the truth conflicts with leftist ideology / leftist religion.
I don’t know about caused, but it’s definitely lubricated with caffeine.

Well stated. Thing is God may be the answer to some of the science questions they ask, but without those science questions would never come that answer. The more they dive into science the more they are realizing there is something bigger going on they just cannot explain. Science just might end up proving existence. So it is a mistake to immediately close off our minds and dismiss it when we read that one word “science”.

I was wondering if you might drop in on this one. Thank you. Seems science is getting closer and closer to proving that consciousness is a real thing and not just a crazy theory. Maybe more will accept the possibility and expand their own consciousness.
Of course many scientists have "agendas." Most people, from various walks of life, have "agendas." For my part, I tend to be skeptical of anything anybody tells me.
My point here was that I so often find myself bemused by theists/believers who appear to be threatened by anything a "scientist" says, as if they are themselves afraid that their faith is somehow misplaced. Again, it seems to me to be telling, this seemingly reflexive response I see so often.

By expansion, I am referring to the literal middle letter of the Torah (304,805 letters) — letter 152,403.
It’s the last letter alef within ‘Lev’ 8:28.
Thus last-middle-first letters of the Torah (lamed alef bet) spell לאב,
“LOVE”, as transliterated from English (the letter alef is used for a short u vowel).
Perhaps that’s why it doesn’t seem to have gotten any notice. It’s not anything obscure, though. Just normal rules for spelling foreign words.
Example, the band named Love is spelled לאב:

As for the original article of this thread, before meandering in the above, I had actually read it.
I didn’t understand most of it, but this part jumped out:

The purpose of all religions is to facilitate soul growth. Soul growth is in stages and transcendence is graduation.
These physical bodies are just seed pods for our souls that are planted in the darkness of the earth to grow.
This is why Jesus stated in John 14, “The things that I do and even more you to shall di in my name.”
The only reason Christians are not doing the things Jesus did and more is because they don’t understand His teachings nor do they apply them to their life experiences.
