I Love Phil (Neil Peart on Phil Collins)
JFTR, Féchy is 34 miles west of Montreux, where Deep Purple and the Mothers of Invention were in 1971 when the certain some(one) stupid with a flare gun caused the fire in the Montreux Casino.
Ummmm, yes, we knew that. Some stupid with a flare gun burned the place to the ground.
Not so. Genesis was overwrought (imho) but I did like that one-hit that Brand X had, “The Streets of Soho.”
I reiterate.
“Ripples” is probably my favorite song of all time.
Great news. I would hope he would collaborate with Rutherford and banks and create some new genesis material not solo stuff. But hey just glad he is still going. He looked pretty beat up the last time I saw him.
Worthy. Big fan of Genesis. Even "Duke" which a lot of proggers hate, but to me, it was their last proggie album, despite the 80's sound. "Heathhaze" stands out as a quasi ballade/anthem kind of song.
Well that’s disappointing
He's been phoning it in since the 80's 😂
Hasn’t he been producing movie music?
