Consider the World War II years where cities across the globe were burning, thousands of planes filled the skies daily and thousands of motor vehicles rolled across vast areas none equipped with any kind of pollution removing devices like catalytic converters and global industrial plants without any pollution control churned out war materials without stop. If CO2 from using fossil fuels causes global warming wouldn’t the immediate post war years have seen hotter summers rather than the obsrved cooling trend from 1945?

Every so often some posters unfamiliar with the comic book Dr. Sivana assume that I am presenting myself as a real medical doctor, or at least a PhD. Periodically I let folks know that I am using the name of a comic book Mad Scientist.

Maybe someday I will explain the mysterious origin of my screen-name.
