The cats are not a problem. In fact, my wife tells me that I am a better husband because of my cat experience. Women can have a husband, children,cats, even dogs, and they can all be enriching. Cats are great, but they are not sufficient. More than a litter’s worth can be an issue unless you live in an acreage.

My wife and I are in our mid 80,’s, and we have known a few cat women in our 60+ years of marriage.
3 are still on our mailing list and auto dial phone.
One woman still has and breeds pedigree dogs to go with her Siamese cats.
These women are polite and have still have senses of humor in spite of their cats.
One made life miserable for a male cousin, and we joke that God called him to heaven for putting up with that bitch.
