Rod Stewart is big into model trains, it seems.

Yes, all dreck. “Afternoon Delight “ is a running joke with my wife.
Yeah...not a fan of most of those.
What’s even worse is that Rod performed that song at the televised “Gift of Song” concert for UNICEF in January 1979.
I dunno, I always thought performing “Do Ya Think I’m Sexy” at a charity event to kick off the Year of the Child was breathtakingly tacky, even by Disco-Era standards...
YOMV/YMMV, of course...
Thanks for the link. Rod’s train setup is amazing. I guess the man has more than one artistic gift.
Thanks for dredging up a terrible memory. I bought the single of "Rasputin".
Yes, I put money in Boney M's pocket. I was young, I was confused, it was a different time. I will go off and be ashamed now.
I like the Vanilla Fudge version.
Freegards
I would think that would be Seasons in the Sun...
‘How about “Kung Fu Fighting”, lol?’
It’s a catchy tune.
Might have been bad if Rod Stewart did it, though.
“Muskrat Love”
I had the hots for Toni Tennille.
The Sacred Laws of Nature dictate that no song can be worse than Terry Jack’s “Billy Don’t be a Hero” and/or “Seasons in the Sun”. If Rod Stewart performed those songs, the universe would expel one of its dimensions just to make it stop.
I’d vote for “Billy Don’t Be a Hero” or “Love Grows Where My Rosemary Goes” over anything from Rod Stewart.....but the ones I hated the worst were the disco hits that dominated the radio back then. KC & the Sunshine Band - That’s the Way (Uh huh uh huh) I Like It was the all time worst, followed closely by Shake Shake Shake Your Booty. Drove me to Zappa, Velvet Underground, etc. to get away from that crap.
Rod Stewart and Amy Belle doing ‘I dont wanna talk about it’ live at the Royal Albert Hall is great.
Sorry, I thought you sarcastically listed songs that were worse than the song the article was written about.
