You would think that would be normal without a law. My fricking credit card company with whom I spend a few hundred dollars annually does that. They probably make less than $20 a year off commissions since I pay the bill every month.
One year we passed out Christmas presents in the mess hall after the inmates finished the evening meal.....all I saw was pasta and bread...carbs carbs carbs.
The highlight of the week I learned was Tuesday “chicken on the bone” as the inmates would say.
Anybody that thinks it’s a vacation is certainly mistaken.
I learned that if their crime falls into a certain nonviolent category and they stay out of trouble they can request a transfer to a different facility......usually to get closer to family in another part of the state. Saw that on several occasions.
One would think, but it isn't. I'm looking to have our local County Board of Supervisors handle it with an Ordinance. One would think they would have the power to direct the Records Office to do so.
“”Florida resident””???
There should be a better classification for this dirtbag. Fraudster, convict, conman, creepozoid.
My county assessor used to have a notification that you could sign up for that would notify you if there were changes to the status of your property but they did away with it for some reason.
I had a buddy who worked at county & that’s mostly people on hold for short amount of time, waiting on trial etc. and he would tell you stories that would curl your hair. He’d say, imagine what the penitentiary is like when you have people who have nothing to lose.
PMITA time.

“Florida state inmate #6745378......how’s that for a classification? ‘Cause that’s what it’s gonna be. LOL!
I saw a few things when inside, which I won’t share specifics about.
A few times prison ministry guys (myself included) have gotten locked down while inside due to some security issue....that was a little freaky. 😏
Well, now he has a place of his own to live.
Hopefully for a good long time.
And someone will even cook his meals for him.
It certainly should be in any state with l lot of vacation rentals or second home properties -- both coasts, Colorado, etc.
“And someone will even cook his meals for him”
And when he hits the state prison system he’s gonna get a free haircut!
What’s bad is you need a law.
Where will all the dem voters live until November 6th?????????
Much too lenient. Make a real example of him.
Thanks, but your post is an example of how not to post an article. Sorry. See https://freerepublic.com/focus/f-bloggers/3932222/posts
