This is how lunatics operate.
At 12:01 noon on January, they’ll all be unemployed.
And, at 12:05, they should all be in shackles . . .
maybe because it’s WaPo suggesting this move to the lawfare mob?
We’ll see about that!
Which naturally begs the question - are they spying on his campaign and admitting, once again, to election interference on behalf of the DNC?
First thing I wold do after his election is assemble a team to identify ALL Democrat appointed people.
And secondly all non-fire able Democrat bureaucrats anf RINOs.
On the day of taking the oath, fire all the appointees and furlough all the ones you cannot fire.
Then start over much smaller.
. . . from their new desks on the island of Diego Garcia.
If they are prosecuting him for any actions that took place while he was President the first time then it doesn’t matter that he’s not the President again until 1/20/2025. The Supreme Court’s decision stands, wherein some acts are completely subject to immunity, some are presumed to have immunity, and some clearly personal ones have no immunity whatsoever. It is time that the DOJ actually abide by the Constitution and the Supreme Court rulings thereon.
Yes, people seem to ignore that point and forget that in the 1960s, Robert F Kennedy was John F Kennedy’s AG. No way they didn’t talk, collaborate, and approach the Department of Justice and FBI to benefit the Kennedy president.
If he wins, he will control the Justice Department the case will be over and every involved on the unemployment line the day Trump assumes office.
I think that is the case.
and not necessarily WAPO but one of the intel folks fantasizing out loud.
Of course not. But even without backdoor or family connections, a president has the full, unquestioned authority to start, stop or personally conduct an investigation. He does NOT have to defer to DOJ, or the FBI etc.
The pardon power is a subset of that principle.
AND he can appoint a Special Counsel to go after the seditionists for the last 7 years.
Translated: "It came out of my butt."
That’s why merely winning can’t be retribution enough. The punishments must be crushing in order to send the message that We the People will not tolerate a rogue, tyrannical government. They must be brought to heel and their power totally stripped away from them, forever.
If you don’t harshly deal with these people, this will continue.
Idiotic WAPO writers— it’s not the Just us department rules which don’t allow criminal prosecution...It is the Constitution!!! For crying out loud- and the SCOTUS just enumerated the limitations of immunity for acts official and non-official. The stupid article is talking about Jack Smith, and that dude is out of a job. What other criminal prosecutions are they trying to run— Jan 6th is over with as well as per the freaking evidence! And the destruction of evidence from the jan 6th committee obviates any “referral” from a Congress no longer in session.
These clown loser WAPO types live in a damned bubble and they sure didn’t read the decisions only real sotomayor’s moronic and rambling sociopathic “dissent”. A dissent that was light on legal citation.
I’m betting that biden/obama/pelosi/shumer have told them to jail Trump so he never takes office.
So Trump names his own AG and he closes it down.
They want to have a president-elect sit through a trial during a transition? Are they insane? So much for a peaceful transfer of power.
Trump needs to fire anyone from the top down to the janitors
President Trump should sue the federal government in an attempt to force it to confirm or deny if they are spying on him. Even if it doesn’t get any legs it will bring up the illegal spying done to him in 2015 and bring it back up in the minds of the American people.
