That’s the great thing about OTR trucking. The driver is often on the road at least a week or more. Over 5 1/2 years with that company, I probably only saw sheman in the truck yard a couple times a year, and only had a conversation one time.

Dispatch gave sheman my ph# for any tips about a west coast load I had done. That’s when sheman explained that the surgery had wrecked his health. But observing the ‘rule’, I said nothing. I did give sheman a couple of Bible tracts when in the truck lot about a year before the cutup. He had been on hormone for a couple years by then. Really pathetic situation.
