I also have a pre-Lodge cornbread pan that has like 8 connected little boats for separate cakes. Perfect if you like crust.

In the old days people would call the police - now if citizens want to discourage criminals they need to hit them with a frying pan or hammer. Why? Because in democrat run hellholes like Chicago criminals are put back on the street before their victims are out of the hospital.

“You can substitute canned blueberries for the peaches.”
Those are simply the best! Peaches with the caramelized sugar and a bit of crust! A scoop of ice cream and you are all set!

Your comments about seasoning are well taken.
But, I was alluding to the article’s description of the frying pan as the weapon unleashed on the thief. A cast iron pans (well seasoned or not) would have more mass and would make a more satisfying thunk than a flimsy aluminum/teflon one.

Williams is both the perp and the victim. Interesting. I thought so too.
I am guessing that the owner has his name on a mailbox or the outside of the home somewhere, and the burglar was attempt to sow doubt about him being a burglar with the LEO.

The guy with a frying pan had a pretty effeminate way with his/its pan swings.Maybe he used to be a girl. I noticed the transgender flag hanging from the front porch. A natural man might have grabbed a gun, not grandma's skillet.

The square pans are so great for bacon. Or making cornbread in the oven.

They are, aren’t they? My square skillet is in the oven right now with liberally spiced chicken thighs baking. The chicken pieces fit in the pan so much better than they do a round skillet.
