My Apple Calendar program gave me an alert earlier this morning that “Pride Month” starts tomorrow. I gagged.
I finally traced it back to a Google “US Holidays” calendar that I had subscribed to. I discontinued that infernal subscription.
I’ll have to make my own Holiday Calendar. Of course, I’ll miss the queer and moslem crapola, but I think I can manage.

In my town, a lesbian business owner has tried, without success, for the past two years, to get the city council to issue a Pride Month proclamation and fly the Rainbow Flag at city hall. This is in a part of Indiana that is very blue but somehow remains socially conservative. She decided to stage her own event on her own dime. I have no problem with that, because she isn’t compelling anyone to celebrate with her.
