Interesting. Currently, the USA Beef cow population is at a 50-60 year low. Presently, slaughter is about 30 million for steers and heifers with steers comprising about 18 - 22 million.
Mari Sandoz in her book “The Buffalo Hunters” states in the forward that “In 1492, the present United states held perhaps little over two hundred fifty thousand Indians while the buffalo was estimated all the way from fifty to one hundred twenty-five millions, depending to some extent upon whether the estimator had seen the wide dark herds of the Great Plains”
All of this concern over greenhouse gas with existing herd numbers pales when compared to the historical context.
Perhaps they should focus on termites.

It is a fact that too little protein saps energy and makes people more docile. That's one point.
The other point is they're trying to promote their assertion that things that emit methane (burpers and farters) must be reduced.
Cows now, people later.
Millions of Bison that were slaughtered in the 1800s no longer exist, but they didn’t contribute according to ignorant and stupid liberals.
In the past we had 30 to 60 million buffalo roaming the great plains. Good thing we killed them or we would all be dead from global warming. /S
I don’t care.
Show me the beef.
Exactly zero effect on the climate. Prove otherwise. And not with your jiggered computer models!
This is one of the most insane of the depopulation pushers and other leftists. When this continent was settled by Europeans, there were vast herds with millions upon millions of buffalo in them.
