Whatever one can say about Coppola he put his own money into brining his vision to life. Is Adam Driver's character Coppola's take on Ayn Rand's Howard Roark?

I’ve watched the trailer of it but can figure out where it’s going.

Heheh. Right. But I meant, "What's the story about?"
It looked a little like the Fall of Babylon the Great...but I didn't see any hints about the plot.

“Megalopolis” is an upcoming film directed by Francis Ford Coppola.
While specific plot details have not been widely disclosed, the film is described as ambitious and is set in a futuristic megalopolis—a sprawling, densely populated imagined modern-day New York City—following a devastating disaster and features an ensemble cast including Adam Driver, Giancarlo Esposito, Nathalie Emmanuel, and Aubrey Plaza.
The story is expected to explore themes of power, corruption, and the human condition within this vast urban landscape. As more information becomes available, audiences can anticipate an intricate narrative that delves into the complexities of society, politics, and personal relationships.

Sounds like a weekday soap opera show...

Giancarlo Esposito is gonna be in it?
Is he gonna play the Satan figure in this one too?

All TV Shows and Films are soap operas. A few writers and directors are able to turn some of the projects into something worthwhile, but they’ve all got pretty much the same structure as the soaps.

The City is failing. The Mayor is trying to save the City by the usual methods. The Architect is proposing radically new methods to save the City. The Mayor is resisting, but the Architect may have an ally in the Mayor’s Daughter.
The End.

Sounds like he just did a remake of the 1927 file ‘Metropolis’. Nothing new here.

So where are the “reviews” that are “in.”

I’ll rather watch Top Gun. Tom Cruise is exciting.
