That was an incredibly exciting horse race.
The announcer was a bit clueless as he didn’t pick up on Sierra Leone until very late.
I don’t usually watch whichever one comes next but will be tuning in this year.
The Preakness is up next, May 18. Mark your calendar.
Beautiful pony! Gotta love a blood bay with chrome. And Mr. Prospector in his lineage! (Still regret that I didn’t breed my Shuvee mare to him in the 80s when his stud fee was reasonable.)

There’s a dispute as to whether it’s Beetlebaum or Feetlebaum.
Feetlebaum was linked to Doodles Weaver.
“Horse Race (Beetle Bomb)”: This is one of Spike Jones’ classics from the late 1940s. It’s a lively and comical tune that features unconventional instruments, sound effects, and humorous lyrics.
There was those who didn't care for "Bomb"; so they went "Kosher"; and changed it to "Baum". Either way; Beetle Bomb, or Beetlebaum; its still funny.
