Heavy censorship on Meta apps. We'll all get banned if we try to engage in "free speech" over there.

If “JimRob” is declared a “foreign adversary” or “foreign adversary country” then we have bigger issues than H.R. 7521.

(2) Covered nation.—The term “covered nation” means—
(A) the Democratic People’s Republic of North Korea;
(B) the People’s Republic of China;
(C) the Russian Federation; and
(D) the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Better read the whole thing and the language very well. I did a month ago. It is open and can be used at the sole discretion of the president.

Perhaps you are thinking of this bill (”H.R. 7890” “To amend the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act of 1998 to strengthen protections...”)(This is not the “TikTok” Bill...which is H.R. 7521)

Since they lie and extrapolate beyond all rationality without any evidence, they could falsely connect a foreign adversary to any domain they want and the courts would let them.

In fact they already have. Trump and Russia! Russia! Russia!. I can see the claim already:

“MAGA who supports Trump is a domestic terrorist organization who also has ties to our foreign adversary Russia”.

That is all they need to turn this onto every conservative domain out there who supports Trump and MAGA which includes the FR.

Do you really think they will actually play fair with this new power? When have they never twisted powers into something they are not?

Should have never opened that door.
