What a financial dumbass. The car dealer and financier did not point a gun to her head and told her to spend $83 k on a car. I would think her husband would have a say in such an extravagant expense. Also she could have tried to refinance the loan if she thought the interest rate was too high. I have a feeling this family is headed to bankruptcy.

Same mindset (brain-dead) as all the liberal s-stain morons who take out huge school loans then demand someone else pay them off.

Do what the rest of the American middle class are being forced to do...What’s left of the middle class that is. Buy used, buy old! Don’t borrow ANY money for a vehicle...It’s a trap.

My mother in laws neighbors were like that. It seemed like every time we were there one of them had a new car. I can’t imagine how upside down they were.

They’ve gotten more stable in the last few years. Nice people, friends even but they were economic illiterates.

I just bought my company car when I hit the mileage limit. 2 year old F-150 for $19,000. Was able to pay cash. I expect that I’ll own it for many years. I have another company F-150 that I can use for personal so while I didn’t need it I wanted to rig it for overland camping and can’t quite pull that off with the company car.
