I do use them a lot in cooking, but I caramelize every time.
In restaurants I tend to avoid them. It’s too depressing trying to convince anyone that I really mean KILL THEM!
Sounds great!
Taco Bell Bean burritos are best without the sauce and cheese.
It is so soothing to eat.
I am from Texas. We have real Tex-Mex food here. No need to resort to the McDonalds of Mexican food (PepsiCo Taco Bell).
If you are in Dallas, try Mi Covina’s lunch special number 5.
When you have nausea, heartburn, indigestion, upset stomach, diarrhea
LOL…..still laughing because anytime I have eaten at TB, it often triggers a bodily reaction that I must get home IMMEDIATELY, I guess the way I drive could be considered suicide.
Taco Bell serves the indigenous cuisine of Southern California.
Well, I used to go to Taco Bell. What were my favorites?
Meximelt
Seven-Layer Burrito on Fridays
Choco-Taco
Caramel Apple Empanada
Shrimp salad with edible bowl (also Fridays)
Enchirito
Bell Beefer
Burrito Supreme
Of all those, I believe they are all discontinued except for the Burrito Supreme (which is less supreme than it once was). The Enchirito may be semi-discontinued.
But, I no longer go to Taco Bell.
You got gas both places.
Remember when there was a pronunciation key on the menu?
Our TB usually had a long line at the drive thru until the night the first COVID restrictions came down. I was wondering why the line was gone but then I remembered that there were TP shortages due to the the restrictions.
What’s wrong with salt?
Bean burrito
Hold the onions
Hold the cheese
Road chow
Barely have to stop the car... can eat one handed. Yesssss...
LOL, I won’t try to argue against you!
Hilarious!
I do a caramelized onion patty melt you might like. I also do a mean French onion soup, also with lots of well-caramelized onion.
We pretty much stopped going to TACO BELL. Our drive thru orders are 90% never right or they leave out items. I think its part of their corporate strategy to subtlety increase profits.
Taco Bell was a decent, cheap, fast meal years ago. Now it’s expensive and, per my last experience, just plain nasty. Tacos with a brown stain in the bottom of the shell that may represent meat, insufficient ingredients, stale shells.
lol!
I recently found their Black Bean Crunchwrap to be very tasty. I’ll usually get a crunchy taco or a bean burrito along with it.
I have gotten extra onions but haven’t asked for grilled. Sounds good though
I get that Taco Bell products all use the same fillers, but just have different “containers”…but I really can’t help myself. I just get that urge for a run to the border from time to time. There is no sin in that.
