Had a buddy that was married with children working in the SF area for the last 45 years. He used to mildly complain that as the gay culture advanced he was hit-on by women at a ridiculous rate in the 80s and 90s. The last 20 years (now a widower) he now says the women are so radically leftist they are repellant.
“hit-on by women at a ridiculous rate in the 80s and 90s”
And it was so :)
Being both old and very married I cant testify as to the last 20 years.
Transvestism.
Rabid Leftism.
...and if they somehow find a woman who's neither of the above, he still has to contend with Hoeflation.
Hoeflation: Today's men must work 5 times harder than their grandfathers for women that are 20 times worse than their grandmothers.
Faggotry abounds
Few girls around
I am betting this guy is spot on. There are some areas around the country where the dating market is utter trash.
Probably the same as when I lived there.
Rich Engineers with little experience dating.
I knew a woman in the bay area who bragged she had been with 6 virgins.
Of course once they got some experience, they dumped her.
She was a high maintance drama queen.
This was true 24 years ago when I was there... I was married before I moved there, but was probably the only one my age that was married and had kids when out there.
Guys outnumbered girls a bazillion to 1, only single women I net when I was out there were ones I worked with, granted I wasn’t going out and partying at the bars etc, but It was pretty obvious odds were not in your favor, and because the ratio was so out of whack, girls knew they had the pick of the litter.
I compare it to girls on CMU campus here in Pittsburgh. The university of Pittsburgh and CMU are only a few blocks from each other, but on CMU campus at least back when I was in school in the 90s, the men outnumbered women easly 8 or 9 to 1 at CMU, as a result the girls at CMU didn’t really need to try, because they were in rare supply.. Pitt on the other hand, GOOD LORD, there are times I drive through Oakland to this day when the weather is nice, and the girls are out sunning themselves and I wonder how I ever managed to pass a class, let alone graduate.
So true.
The best comment is "Can't tell if it's a comedy skit or a TED Talk."
