I wasn’t trying to be cute. I’m very serious. Let me be very clear. I left the GOP in 2020. My support is only to President Trump. There are VERY few Republicans who are worth a vote. I sincerely hope the party changes, but that will have to start at the very base level of the party.
Serious question: What are you planning to do in 2028?
I absolutely guarantee you, Donald Trump will NOT be President in February 2029.
I hope to vote for a candidate who puts America First. Are you even a Trump supporter? Do you want what’s best for the country, cause it sure isn’t what’s in DC now.
Where do you expect such a candidate to come from?
Are you even a Trump supporter?
I'm a supporter and defender of the Constitution of the United States against all enemies foreign and domestic. My loyalty is to these United States, not to ANY particular politician. I've had enough of politicians, including Mr. Trump, who talk big and deliver small.
I reserve special contempt, though, for trolls who pretend to support one politician by constantly trashing other politicians who are virtually indistinguishable from him. There is a handful of such trolls on this forum; they show up on threads like this one. You're not one of them, are you?
Thank you for your information. My support is America First. That’s Donald J Trump. End.
Trump did no such thing. He won in spite of Trump.
He did not “take UniParty money.” That was Nikki.
For some reason, people can’t stand the fact th he has been and continues to be an effective, conservative governor and leader.
You certainly are entitled to your opinion. I’m entitled to mine.
Ron was a terrific Gov especially during Ian. If you have read anything I’ve written on FR you will see I’ve been more than fair and honest about my Gov. But that doesn’t mean the narrative gets changed because of political views. The fact is his campaign funding and staffing came from a particular group of individuals who have been exposed. That exposure combined with his subsequent actions during his active period in the primary says a lot. Enough to lose the support of a significant block of FL voters. Its why Ron DeSantiss is on a rehab campaign here in my state.
Personally, I believe the man is Uni Party owned and only as conservative as they will allow. That’s my opinion. You feel differently which is your right. End.
Sorry, but that is NOT a fact. He lost donors because he wouldn’t go along with the Deep State agenda. (They mostly went to Haley.)
I know you’ve been told that, but it’s counterfactual.
All he did during the primaries was lay out his policies and vision. That’s what he’s supposed to do.
Your contention that he’s “Uni Party owned and only as conservative as they will allow” is completely contradicted by the facts, by his record, by his policies. In fact, many conservatives have said the same thing about Trump.
Seriously, I made the point in my last post that my opinions mine. It doesn’t agree with yours. The fact that I live in FL gives me access to the minds and opinions of other voters in my area of the state. I’m not gonna come about to your way of thinking. Not today. Not tomorrow and not the next election cycle. Ron DeSantiss lost my support. He lost a lot of supporters. Will it cost him the next election? Who knows. All I know is I won’t cast a vote for a Uni Party owned candidate and that he is! And its not just me making this claim.
Sorry, but his record shwos he is not.
