It’s not hard to keep pounds off when suffering from cancer, which is the case of most veges that I know.
But this is an interesting new tactic by the Left - rather than tell people that the weight loss and other health benefits that they got from Keto (meaning meat-heavy diet) is fake and discredited (as if their scales and blood tests are lying to them), instead admit low-carb works, but try to steer people into the yucky, unhealthy, low-carb food that will cause them to quit and go back to being fat, but not otherwise impacting the environment (which is the entire reason that traditional Keto will never be accepted by our masters).
When the low carb Atkins and other diets were shown by results of coworkers and relatives, I remember Jenny Craig and Weight Watchers and others storefronts closing down.
Haven’t followed the news. Did another diet show it worked?
By mere chance I once hit the wrong button on the remote and PBS was on, finishing the last hour or so of The Truth About Fat.
Part I saw showed the Biggest Loser weight loss people interviewed years later. All had regained the weight despite sticking to the diet and exercise and strict self denial. The body adjusted. Really depressing. I never went back to watch the whole show.

Do all veggie people look sick or is it just my view as a normal healthy adult?
People have been eating meats for thousands of years but they only started eating processed food for 50 years or so…I’ll stick to the tried and true. Meat with a side of meat and meat dessert.
How you eat makes a huge difference.
Gobbling your food and not chewing properly is not good
Never trust a Harvard diet study. They are fierce partisans in the diet wars, and not on the right side.
Just make sure it’s Grass-Fed Beef.
They all look sick, and those man-buns do not help.
I’m on the Jack Daniels diet. So far I’ve lost 3 days.
