They told me 10 - 15 years to. I declined mechanical valve for 2 reasons: warfarin for life & can’t eat broccoli or carrots that I love.
My mother died at 96 in 2012 and had a close friend her age in Newport News whose pig valve lasted over 20 years.....

I take 15k to 20k vitamin d3 plus vitamin k2
I barely get out in the sun at all. If I did—I would take way less
I work nights so I don’t see much sun and 5k has worked for two decades. I avoided COVID while it was rampant hereabouts though when It first turned up nearby I went to 20k for the duration. No one I know who was taking the D3 5k regularly got the WuFlu.
there’s a second reason I take high doses. I want to optimize my blood serum levels above 50 nm ml and preferably around 70 nm ml. The other is that d3 goes into decline as we age. I’m age 70. A third reason is one I’m trying to eliminate. A gut. I carry over thirty pound of extra weight. Its mostly visceral fat in and around the inner organs. The literature suggests that this stuff is pretty toxic and degrades a lot of the element of the innate immune system.
I’ve got about half of it off. Or at least that what the scales suggest. My gut still sticks out.
