Well the ultimate late 70's and early 80's band was Devo

When I was in college, in the cafe in in the student union, there was a jukebox with the song “Mongoloid” on it by Devo - it was played constantly, seemed like every time I went past or was in there, that song would be playing:
“He was a Mongoloid, Mongoloid
His friends were unaware
Mongoloid, he was a Mongoloid
Nobody even cared.”
I can still hear it to this day...

SiriusXM does these all the time but at least they let listeners vote and just tabulate the results.

56. Bonnie Tyler - ‘Total Eclipse of the Heart’
This will never stop being funny to me. Especially since the singer in this parody sounds a lot like Bonnie Tyler.

Dire Straits - Telegraph Road "Love Over Gold" is their best album, too...although I prefer the live concert version of Telegraph Road.

"Love Over Gold" is their best albumAgree. The other ones are great, too, but Love Over Gold is special. One of the best sides in music history: Telegraph Road and Private Investigations.

lists such as this , are totally subjective, and liking certain music or songs, is in the ear of the beholder.
