There has always been tremendous interest in NCAA football. Where have you been?
He’s a marketing scheme, a ploy, a self serving megalomanic who is teaching young Black men to be as bad or worse than he is.

ME: I’ve been watching with interest the human interest story about the renewed interest and anticipation re: Colorado Buffaloes football. It is interesting that people’s interest has been drawn, nationwide, to this program which has been rather fallow since the days they fielded a team in 1989 that played in the non-playoff national championship.
Lately, interest has turned to snide, smartass sniping as the makeshift team hit the skids midseason following injuries to the amazing 2-way player Hunter, and the slick QB Sanders, Prime’s son.
Where I’ve been all these years is where most everyone else has been — watching college FB knowing that, in the end, it will be the 90% NFL-bound SEC teams like Alabama, Georgia and LSU winning the playoff.
So yeah, some would call the Colorado phenomenon a sideshow to the REAL season. Me, I call it an interesting highlight, featuring some of the old-school values I hold dear.
Watching some commentary from Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson on FS1 about this. They said Deion won for being “unapologetically, authentically black” and for “bringing people of all races together.” And that Deion’s W-L record wasn’t nor should have been even a consideration. It’s all about his blackness, and that’s enough. Like Obama winning the Nobel.
Just remember that equal opportunity and DEI had nothing to do with this decision.

I waited a whole 1 hour and 45 minutes to respond.
If you think that’s an inordinately long interval between snark and response, you’re quite impatient — especially since it took you over two days to respond; two years would’ve been even better.
As to brevity and wit, you’re spot on with the former, but only halfway in with the latter.
He was the singular most important person on the team when they were winning early. Not a good approach to coaching or a team.
