Instant head trip back to college days and the long drive home for Christmas, listening to AM radio.

She's not a bad singer however, as "Kiss, Kiss, Kiss" from Double Fantasy can attest.

True story.

When I was a pizza hut cook as a teen, I played it on the Pizza Hut jukebox (It was the B-side of "Starting Over") to get older lingering patrons to pack up at closing time.

The noises she makes at the end are QUITE vulgar.

(Other true story: I picked nine Barry Manilow songs in a row to deal with youth infestations.) Yoko was the stronger dose.

“According to the Catholic Encyclopedia, the word Christmas originates from the phrase “Cristes Maesse”, first recorded in 1038, which means the Mass of Christ or Christ’s Mass”

No fooling? Wow I didn’t see that coming...🙄

I heard "The Old Songs" by Barry Manilow come on the radio yesterday during a Top 40 countdown from 1981. Some 40+ years later, I have an appreciation for Barry Manilow.

Neil Diamond had a hit "Yesterday's Songs" in the same countdown.

You wouldn't find either of those artists in a Top 40 countdown today!

Yep, but the DATE was chosen from a pagan holiday, that’s what you were remembering.
