Meanwhile Oates has a Royal Albert Hall show lined up for May 2024 opening for Richard Marx, not a nasty piece of work at all but a two-hit wonder at best.
"In the midst of a legal battle that includes a restraining order against his longtime musical and business partner John Oates, Daryl Hall played a concert with a setlist filled with Hall & Oates classics.Hall took to the stage at the Tokyo Garden Theater in Japan on Nov. 23, and performed plenty of the duo's classic hits, including "Out of Touch," "I Can't Go for That (No Can Do)" and "Private Eyes." Classic rocker Todd Rundgren also appeared at the show.
I saw Hall & Oates front row 1983 and it was all about G.E. Smith. Then I saw them before the plandemic and it was all about not having G.E. Smith. Not that the Daryl’s House Band isn't tight, but they tend to knock the stuffing out of anything that isn't a ballad.
Any Freeper been to the Daryl's House bar/tavern/performance haus? Wondering if it's worth the side trip next year as I'll be up that way late summer.
