Amen! Happy Blessed Thanksgiving!
You mean that banned, culturally inappropriate book, To Kill a Mockingbird?
My favorite book too and the first time I saw a movie that was as good as the book.
So they were trying to get into Canada from the US?

I think they planned to do that and changed their minds for some reason. Why bring passports if crossing the border was never contemplated?
Has your fur baby come back home?
Love him, too, Gran!!
Yes, more of that, please.
Corrections for falsehoods. Lol….kind of like retractions/NON apologies, right??
Go get, ‘em, Pierre!
THAT is absolutely gorgeous, dear foldy!!
RPOTUS…..taking no prisoners. All aboard!
💞
That painting is hilarious. I think Scout was a little angrier but certainly had same satisfaction after her little scrimmage. Notice, too, the expression on the Principal’s face.

re: Movie I remember how thrilled I was when I read that Gregory Peck would play “Atticus.” Can’t imagine anyone else — plus have read quite a bit about how Harper Lee agreed about that choice by Hollywood — AND the way he treated the kids on the set during production. Kind, kind man.
Pinging y’all to this “coininkydink” ….

So far, no ID, either.
🤔
And he doesn’t even need to be eating an apple to zing the LSM.
Pierre’s priceless!
I got your drift, Jane.😆
I do love Pierre Poilievre for his directness and refusal to fall into the linguistic and fallacious traps that reporters set for him. They go to school to learn how to ask “Gotcha” questions, and many people are ill-equipped to handle those kinds of questions. Pierre has my complete admiration for being aware of and able to handle them. He takes no prisoners.
Is this the train we are taking to the next Trump event in Iowa?
I’ll bet it is as fantastic on the inside as it is on the outside.
Thanks, foldy!
I’m not familiar with that particular painting you have on your wall but your description makes me think of “Scout” in my favorite book and movie - To Kill a Mockingbird. Thanks.

We are kindred spirits. That’s my favourite book too 😊
thanx a lot.
I’ve already share this with some other friends.
have a goot one.
Bet we could get into a good convo on Dagney Taggert also — agree?
Has your fur baby come back home?

Thank you for asking. Not yet. I’ve spent the morning notifying vets, the SPCA, the Humane Society, etc. I also put dirty clothing outside so she may pick up familiar scents. She’s chipped so if she’s found and turned in, we’ll be reunited. I hope it’s soon.
There are so many lessons to learn in the book that transferred to the screen.
One that stood out to me was how cruel some can be when they don’t understand and are scared of someone.
Boo Radley was a unique character, played by Robert Duvall, and the friendship between him, Scout and Jem saves their lives.

I sure hope it is soon too.
Hopefully a kind person has taken her in just waiting to take her to see if she is chipped.
