YOU ARE WRONG. Michigan issues permits for people who want to keep certain wildlife as pets. Might want to check your facts on that.

I did check my facts.
You will not get a permit to keep a formerly wild animal.
Period.
Certain groups can get one to “Rehabilitate” a wounded animal.
Very rare to get one.
The DNR officer will confiscate the animal, and it will be euthanized (killed)
