The Iranian admission is a tacit admission the are at war with us. The US government since 1979 dances around not admitting this. The Iranian government is at war with us, functionally, whether we admit it or not, we are at war with Iran. How Iran fights, how the US and allies respond or refuse to respond is irrelevant to this. It’s been a medieval cold war since then.

resurrecting this thread in light of 49 Iranian attacks on US forces since it was posted. The links posted above list Uranian acts of war against the US from 1979 on.
75 attacks on US ships and facilities last 2 months.
Logically then we should also bomb the fentanyl precursor factories in China. They've killed a lot more Americans than Iranian drones. And also the Covid 'factories' aka 'labs' there. Although there are some US government officials, current and past, and some US based NGOs, who might deserve to be ahead of the Chinese on the latter target listing.
