It would be stupid to bring a large contingent of the ukraine army to the crimea. they would be cut off from resupply and quickly surrounded.
Better to build two or three pontoon bridges over the dneiper with plenty of air cover so the 10k uke soldiers armor and artillery can cross the river. then fight their way up the south side of the dneiper river to uke lines. That would provide a land route to the rear of the rus lines.
then the ukes could drive a much larger army behind rus lines and cut off their supplies. The whole rus army would be forced to retreat or surrender from the south.

I have little knowledge of military strategy. Yet, I believe the Ukrainian military is making every effort to decrease stockpiles, ships, trains and control roads and bridges to end re-supply.

Three vessels carrying agricultural products and iron ore have left the Ukrainian Chornomorsk and Pivdennyi (South) sea ports, and five new vessels are headed to ports to be loaded.

Kubrakov reported that the AZARA, YING HAO 01, ENEIDA bulk carriers (under the flags of Liberia and Palau) exported more than 127,000 tonnes of Ukrainian agricultural products and iron ore.
He added that the Velyka Odesa ports are waiting for five new vessels to be loaded. “The OLGA, IDA, DANNY BOY, FORZA DORIA, NEW LEGACY bulk carriers will export more than 120,000 tonnes of Ukrainian grain to Africa and Europe,” Kubrakov stated.
BACKGROUND:
Ukraine opened the registration for commercial ships and their owners to use temporary routes from/to Odesa ports after Russia unilaterally quit the Black Sea grain initiative.
The first vessel to use the Ukrainian Black Sea corridor after Russia’s unilateral decision arrived in Istanbul, Türkiye, on 18 August.
On 26 August it was reported that seven vessels had left Odesa ports in the Black Sea by the temporary humanitarian corridor.
So many victories. When will they reach Vladivostok?

Prime Minister pays working visit to Donetsk region

In Donetsk region, the Head of Government took part in a meeting with the leadership of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, during which the participants were informed about preparations for the heating season, the readiness of the invincibility points and the construction of fortifications.
The participants also discussed problematic issues of preparing for the heating season in Dobropilsk, Bilozersk and Novodonetsk territorial communities.
The Prime Minister instructed the Ministry for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development and the Ministry of Energy to take immediate measures to ensure the passage of the autumn-winter period in the communities of Donetsk region.
In addition, Denys Shmyhal visited the command post of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade “Edelweiss” of the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, where he discussed with the brigade commanders the current issues of logistics and financial support.
On the occasion of the Blessed Virgin Mary’s Intercession and the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, the Head of Government presented certificates of the Cabinet of Ministers and valuable gifts.

BACKGROUND:

-Before that Borrell came to Odesa on an unannounced visit. He visited the Transfiguration Cathedral in Odesa which was damaged as a result of a Russian attack.
