The war will end when Ukraine has recaptured its territory. If you want that to happen sooner, and NATO troops to stay out of the fighting you should support aid for Ukraine.
The Russian invasion of Ukraine may well end Russia as a major military power, and open the door for a future where the USA and NATO can spend less on defense against Russia.
That would be true if we hadn't convinced them to give up their 1000+ nuclear warheads and the intercontinental ballistic missiles to deliver them and something like 300 billion dollars worth of conventional weapons in 1994.
We could just give the Ukrainians 100 nuclear warheads, missiles to launch them, and the inflation adjusted value of the arms they transferred to us (more than $600 billion today) plus the value of the 900 other warheads. Once they were re-armed they could deal with the Russians on their own.
Of course that would put the whole world in a rather perilous situation.
hope its true and Z will collapse in 45 days but i don’t believe it.... RINO’s will cave again or Biden will just divert some other funding... McCarthy should not be allowed to hold any vote on UKR funding or the vacate motion needs to go forward.
So ive been told many times. I appreciate your reply and am open to different opinions as well. Where do you see this going and what will be the consequences of those results long term?
