Loser ron disgruntled® pays no attention to reports of other municipalities
sidelining electric buses due to multiple malfunctions, fires, etc.
Oh the horrors
Didn’t they just find out in this last hurricane that salt water destroys the batteries?
Something the best answer is NO
Don’t take the phony money
DeSellout is a say anything, Swampington Uniparty POS.
Neighbor is Paramedic a lot of calls now are electric things catching fire…mostly electric bikes…
Seriously? Do you live in Florida and experience the absolute insanity that ensues when a hurricane is approaching? I live there and people absolutely DO wait for busses in ‘cane weather. The issue is, flooding and EV ANYTHING don’t mix.
Look a little further down the road than just this moment, put on your thinking cap and get back to us when you’ve figured it out. Until you’ve been through a hurricane, you know nothing. It’s not the actual event itself that’s the main problem..... it’s afterwards.
Ya try to like the guy and then he pulls a stupid stunt like this.
I don’t either but government shouldn’t be involved in stuff like this…leave it to the free market. But that won’t happen
But all cities are government entities and make their own purchasing decisions.
What’s interesting is these are partially paid for from Florida’s share of the VW settlement for emissions cheating on their cars.
“DeSantis and Greta have the same “climate change” talking points. DeSantis banned off-shore drilling and also ran on banning fracking in Florida in 2018. Energy workers know he is no friend of theirs. That’s why the oil & gas workers endorsed Trump!”

The eye wall of Ian came within 3 or 4 miles of my home that I live in year around. Within a quarter mile of me houses had fish in their swimming pools after the hurricane. Is that experience enough for you? The buses ceased running hours before the high winds and heavy rains and flooding started. What I said was spot on.
Yes EV’s absolutely suck in a hurricane or even a tropical storm, but don’t BS me and tell me people will be riding electric buses in hurricane weather and storm surges.
And for the record I witnessed the fire of the white Telsa on Tamiami Trail in Naples that got so much national press right after Ian. Flood them and they are a fire hazard. Unfortunately I also witnessed truck load after truck load of flood destroyed ICE vehicles being pulled from the residences west of Tamiami Trail too.
I’m a long time first responder. I’ve been through and seen more stuff during hurricane, wildfire and other emergencies than I care to to remember. Lots of things happens behind the scenes that you’ll never be made aware of as a civilian. EV’s are NOT ready for prime time nor are most people smart enough to get themselves out of the way of a potential bad situation. Deal with it
Speaking of electric buses...
This story is from Upstate NY, yesterday...
Only a handful of stories, all with the same very limited info, and no follow-ups anywhere.
Really wondering if thus was an EV bus, if it was transporting migrants, or both...
What a dolt. And he wants conservatives to vote for him.
