This is typically done for outpatient medical procedures that require general anesthetic. In her age group, likely a colonoscopy. It is recommended every decade from age 45-75, and she is 54.

Google what she said, there’s a bunch of articles out there about this incident.

My point is this, Lake lost by about 17,000 votes out of 2.5 million votes cast. If only a very small percentage of voters took offense to her comments and either voted for Hobbs or someone else, it probably cost her the election.

It was an unforced error combined with her and other Republicans telling voters to wait until election day to vote, where strangely voting machines malfunctioned in Republican precincts and you created a losing formula in an election that should have been won.

IMO, a candidate should never tell potential voters to get out, they should always be trying to attract voters. I bet a significant percentage of McCain voters are naturally going to vote Republican, it makes no sense to lump them all together in their views.

You can hate McCain, that is fine, but don’t trash him or his voters, it can’t help you.

False.

“The person standing in for Katie Hobbs, the Treasurer of Arizona is a Republican, how did she get elected and no other Republican could ??

What I would suggest is a better course of action, study what she did, how did she win, in the same state, using the same machines, following the same rules as everyone else did.

The same could be said for the Governor of Nevada, a Republican won when no other Republican could...”

You’re assuming the answer is “they’re just so much better at campaigning, etc”, and that is why they won.

I’d say it’s much more likely that they are the Republicans who are willing accomplices of the Democrats, and so the Democrats don’t bother to cheat so much to beat or unseat them. Democrats are pragmatists, they go after their biggest threats first and those who are not a threat, or even better, those willing to sell out their brethren for a seat at the table, are a waste of resources.

The guy in Nevada was endorsed by Trump are assuming Trump is the same as you just described a song by Eric Clapton, perhaps your assumptions are wrong about my opinion but what do I know except a boogeyman man is behind every MAGA politician losing or assuming the worst about them winning like you just did

We have a Republican Governor for a day. Issue Executive Orders immediately!

else, it probably cost her the election.“

Wrong, that cheating bitch Hobbs cost her the election. She lost by 17,000 because that is the amount they rigged. Wherever the rats cheated it is always by just enough to keep it credible. I would agree Lake made an unforced error going after the McCains and that may have motivated them to help Hobbs with the steal.

Curious, how did the Republican Treasurer win in 2022 and no other Republican did in Arizona, were the Democrats sophisticated enough steal the election from every Republican but one, when they were all on the same ballot, because that would be quite the trick, if that’s what happened.

The Democrats knew ahead of time that 17,000 extra ballots were enough to steal the election from Lake, but Abe Hamadeh only lost by less than 300 votes and Mark Finchem lost by over 120,000 votes and the Republican Treasurer won by about 200,000 votes.

Let’s recap.

Abe Hamadeh lost by 300
Kari Lake lost by 17,000
Mark Finchem lost by 120,000
Blake Masters lost by 125,000
Kimberly Yee won by 200,000

The Democrats were sophisticated enough to steal elections by results that had swings of over 300,000 votes in 2.5 million cast, that’s over a 10% swing.

All the Republicans played by the same rules, with the same machines, etc.

Easy. They kept feeding ballots in at Runbeck until Hamadeh was under water but couldn’t swing 200 k more to overcome Yee. You really couldn’t conceive of that?

Easy, so those ballots were all marked differently for the various candidates, over 200,000 ballots and in some cases 300,000 ballots were marked differently so that one Republican could win by 200,000 and other could lose by over 100,000 but Hamadeh by 300 and Lake by 17,000, so you’re telling me the Democrats were that sophisticated to do that and somehow you conceived of that, they liked Yee better than any other Republican must have really hated Finchem and Masters.

I wonder how many people and what amount of time it took to mark 300,000 ballots to achieve different vote totals in a a state where 2.5 million votes were cast or greater than 10% of the total.

Where is the Lt Gov. Don’t they have one?

Apparently, AZ does not yet have a Lt. Governor, but will have one beginning in 2027.

Did Arizona pass lieutenant governor?

In November 2022 the Arizona electorate approved an amendment (Proposition 131) to the state constitution which creates the position of lieutenant governor beginning January 2027.

You and I are in general agreement.

The problem is the GOP as a party does not have a commonly held political philosophy. Conservatism is not an ideology. Without core principles, the party has no strength or unity.

MAGA is not a philosophy, it is a campaign slogan.

Democrats are united in supporting the notion of an all powerful central government. The government’s perception of the needs of the “community” is more important than freedom of the individual. The individual is subordinate to government.

The opposition party should be the party of individual liberty where government’s role is to preserve, protect and defend the rights and freedom of the individual. The GOP is not that party. Most GOP politicians view their role as using the tools of big government to achieve the goals of the donor base. There is no passionate commitment to protecting the rights of individual citizens. No core beliefs are needed to pass legislation benefiting large corporations and billionaires.

The only way to protect individual liberty is to limit the size and power of government. Even Trump, king of “MAGA” did nothing to reduce the size or power of the federal government. Spending and the deficit accelerated during the Trump administration, just as it did under the presidency of the establishment Republican George W. Bush.

The last five sentences of your post are spot on.

It's the exact playbook that Dems use to steal close elections. And it works.

Nobody on the Republican side is making a serious effort to stop them or even counter them.

Surprisingly I get tons of less than cordial responses even though I readily admit election fraud happens I just don’t believe it happens they way most people think, machines and judges aren’t the cause of election fraud it’s the lack of laws being enforced and democrat controlled local governments changing laws to make things previously illegal legal like ballot harvesting and mail in voting

Thanks for the conversation
